I am not a Squid, so I am only going off of what I know from military experience, and a little research online. Officers have rank, enlisted personnel have ratings that coincide with an enlisted rank. I think the new rating for enlisted SEALs is Special Warfare Operator (SO), combine that with the rank of the enlisted personnel, say Petty Officer 1st Class (PO1) (which is equivalent to an E-6) and you would get SO1. That is the easiest explanation I can give.
I think that prior to the establishment of the SO rating, an enlisted man kept his original rating of whatever he joined the Navy as, Gunners Mate (GM), Fire Controlman (FC), etc... with the SEAL following the rank to identify him as a SEAL. ex. GM1 (SEAL). Since the addition of the SO rate, they have an added the SO insignia... seen below. SEAL Officers can be any Naval Officer rank, but most of the tactical operators are Lt Junior Grade (O-2) or LT (O-3). Most senior officers who were SEALs at one point in their career will still wear the SEAL Trident. There are also SEAL Chief Warrant Officers, CWO2-CWO5. I am not sure how the rank/rating acronym would appear for that though. I am sure that someone with more knowledge will chime in with any corrections. I hope this helps you out.

Basically, you need a team of anywhere from 8-14 (usually around 12). - Team Leader and an XO (second in command). I think the SEALs use a LT (O-3) as the leader, and then sometimes a junior officer as the XO. The Army uses a Captain (O-3) as a Team leader, and ideally a Warrant Officer as the XO... there are no LT's in Army Special Forces Teams. - Senior NCO, for the Navy a Senior Chief or a Master Chief. In the Army usually a Master Sergeant. - Intelligence NCO (E-7 or E-8) - Medic/Corpsman (E-6 to E-8) - Sniper and a Spotter (E-5 - E-7... usually the senior of the two is the sniper). - Demo/EOD/Combat Engineer -Communication Specialist (E-5, E-6) -Weapon Specialists (E-5, E-6) - Basic Special Operators. You can usually double up on most of those positions. For example, you'll probably want 2 demo/engineers, and 2 commos, and 2 Weapons Specialists. Jobs like Intel and Medicine take more training and there are usually only 1 per team. I hope that helps. That's really based more on the Army SF model, but I've read a number of books on the SEALs, and that seems fairly reasonable. One thing to remember is that the Army tends to specialize. A soldier learns a specific skill and continues in that skill to become an expert. In the SEALs, they tend to be more generalists. The longer they're with the Teams, the more diverse training they get. So with the exception of advanced Medical training (like the Corpsmen), they can get training in all areas. So a SEAL sniper can then cross train and learn demo and comms as their career progresses. The pluses and minuses of each system are pretty apparent. But again, my limited experience was a a support officer for Army Special Operations. I am not a Green Beret... so my knowledge isn't perfect, especially for the SEALs. There are other, more quailified guys who could explain much better.

No problem... I see you're from Alabama. What part of Alabama are you in? My brother lives in Cullman.

Painted. Marine Deadpool could cold explain his process better, but we started with the torsos from the Air Viper (Strato Viper) from the Defense of Cobra Island 7-pack. Then we used the thighs from ROC Deep Six, and the lower legs/feet from ROC Hawk.
The torso was already grey, and then he painted the legs. Then he used a black wash to get all the grey to blend together. It had a great effect, I think.
