ALL NEW TWEAKS ARE SHOWN THROUGHOUT THE THREAD!
Hasbro has released a lot of good stuff over the years, but some juuuuust miss the mark. It could be anything, missing glasses...or maybe scrawny arms. These are some of my improvements. first up is 5 pack Shipwreck. A good looking figure, but I've always felt his lower arms are too scrawny. I switched those out with the ones that came on CP Shipwreck. That way, he still has the tatoo! Monkeywrench was Hasbro's attempt to give us a well loved character by utilizing already existing parts, I gave him Sun glasses, a chain for his vest, and those leg bandana things. Here is Wetsuit. Hasbro tried their best, but this was obviously supposed to be some sort of Duke in wetsuit figure. Well, I went and switched out his lower legs and replaced them with Viper ones, and gave him flippers from an Eel to match the original figure's more, bare lower arms, a flashlight from the original figure's and a helmet from a Cobra Eel. Had to mod a bit. I would have loved to use the helmet/head set that from Broken Arrows, maybe one day. Also tried a helmet from ROC Flash. Red Dog Taurus Gung Ho Zanzibar Benchpress

These guys look great!
One thing I might add for Wet-Suit are his flippers. Have you ever seen the flippers that come with the Power Team Elite World Peacekeepers guys? They're made of rubber and slip over the feet of the figures instead of snapping on and look way more realistic. I have some for my ROC EEL's, they look cool as hell. Use an wrist band from 25th Mainframe for the right arm and you're gold. |

Shippy looks great! The picture looks like it, but how well does the flesh tone match? I'm bummed that I already used up CP Shippy's arms and removed the tattoo! I've been working on tweaks to my 5-pack Shipwreck as well. Brilliant use of the flintlock pistol (my plan as well once I can score one).
