Does a really half-assed kitbash count as a custom worth showing off here? Beats me, but I love the difference so much that a few minor changes made to the RoC Desert Viper figure that I just thought I'd share it with you guys.
Basically, while I loved the Desert Viper (I really dig the scarf/goggles combo, along with the sand-encrusted paint-job), the one thing I could not hang with was his silly striped circus vest, so I swapped it out for Sgt. Stalker's PoC webgear, which is possibly my favorite webgear out of the entire modern GI Joe line. I also switched the Desert Viper's goofy-looking knife-rifle thing for the Shock Trooper's sub-machine gun. The end result, while not a major alteration, nonetheless pushes a great figure right into the realm of awesome that I hereby dub the "Elite" Desert Viper. What do you think?

Thanks. I'm really happy with how the new webgear looks on this guy.

He looks great, I love the webgear....I agree with you on the gun/knife that he came with, I can't stand it. Good job, I might steal this idea from you LOL.

Pretty much. I've seen people switch hands and feet and make a figure far more tolerable or much more appealing.
