I liked Nighthawkt’s mod here http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ne-tweaks.html So I decided to try something different. Tell me what you think.
First I cut the little reinforcement piece out. Then I hand drilled a 7/64 hole slightly off center from the inside out because there’s not much room. Fits good and holds tight And the two packs together hold the helmet nicely. |

Thank you Sir!
Thanks, it doesn't throw the balance off either, which was my biggest concern. No problem glad you dug it. |

It's a great merging of the original and updated looks.
Even though I prefer to keep my updated figures looking as close to their original ARAH counterparts as possible I still like this mod. Great work!

Being a fireman and knowing how heavy an airpack by itself is( near 40lbs) and the other pack with it, poor Airtight, I hope he doesnt have to walk to far with all that gear in. Just saying. Nice mod by the way

Thanks! I was a wild fire fighter in 1993 and had to swing a McCloud (still don't know why we called it that) and a water buffalo pack. It was hell hiking with all that gear. I figure Airtight can handel it.

That looks nice actually. It's nice to be able to use both packs.
