I thought it was serious :(
I . . . I feel so used! In all seriousness, I thought it was a cool expression. I mean, there are plenty examples of fantasy type figures with ridiculous, or OEVERKILL weapons. War Hammer 40k comes to mind.

lol? Though I shiver at the notion of giving you more feedback based on your revised description I'll go for it anyways. As a "stupid and obnoxious gun that makes no sense", it's great. Nice chrome look, could be realisticly used as a laser. That would avoid the recoil issue. Plus, although it's metal looking you could say that it was made from a much lighter element. That's all this 'troll' has to offer at this time. |

Saying that from the get go would have gone a long way to avoid honest feedback that does not sit well with you. As for beating the troll dead horse, it seems as over the top as your design.

That's all this 'troll' has to offer at this time. Maybe if you read the wip thread or even used your common sense you wouldn't have taken this seriously in the first place. Then you wouldn't have to backtrack after making yourself look like an ass. Thanks for the insights though. I think what you wrote is what everyone else thought when looking at it for the first time, only they got the vibe of the gun, had a laugh, and didn't try to critique something on first glance to make themselves look clever. Ironic really, given that even thinking this was serious for a second would point to the opposite. Lol?

Darkhorse.
I should have known better than to give you any response. I figured people posted these things for us to comment on, appreciate or not. As is often the case, your accusations fit you best. I won't be giving you any opinions from now on. Lesson learned. Thanks for that. Some folks just don't know how to communicate. Maybe that's you, maybe that's me. I really don't give a shit. Good luck to you. |
