this small project is very much a dry run for an almost exacting project im going to do with the moccasin.
very simple......carved out styrofoam, with the water & dirt painted with acrylic craft paint. small details to note... the longer, homemade air hose on edward's mask... the clearcoat nail-polish on the edges of the kayak showing a wet, recently dunked, water look. (im not going to do the polish on the moccasin) the "dirt" on the bottom and up the side is supposed to represent the "bed" and a shoreline. it looks much better in person as the flash lights that bitch up soooo much that it loses the effect i managed to accomplish. world peacekeepers i believe. $3 you get the kayak, oar, "seal" figure, vest, rebreather, fins and a light. as a small bonus, the fins fit over the foot and around the heel like real fins would. |

kayaks, tanks, horses, camels, outposts, helis, watchtowers....but the last time i hit them was this past sunday....and it seemed that black friday wiped out about 90% of it, especially the small stuff like the kayak. alot of the accessories that come with these toys are the same stuff youd get from marauders.....crates, sandbags, guns....(guns' quality sucks though, but the rest is same quality as MGR) |

that boat in the middle, the one that looks like the old cobra night landing boat, was shown on the back of the kayak's box. i went to every big lots in my area (3 total) trying to find that sucker! none of them had it. i just cannot bring myself to pay $15 bucks for that set. not that its not worth it, cuz it is. big lots wants $14 for that large patrol boat by itself...i just dont have the room for that patrol boat, as nice as it is.
