Swapping parts involves one of two things: cracking open the torso or boiling parts and popping them apart. Boiling is the easier of the two. Cracking torsos takes some practice. Everyone has their own technique, but I personally use an Xacto blade and cut up the torso seam under the "armpits" until I can twist the blade to separate the torso.
