Awesome work. I was thinking the same thing about an AV BAT.

it does looks like an AV version. never imagined those colors on a B.A.T. but they aren't that bad.
Awesome paint job.

is it me or are the photos skewing the color a little bit?, and not to be a pain, but...
If you take a new photo can we get a shot with that different head? and yes, that paint job is pristine. |

Yeah, the coloring in the pics is a little screwed up, the red is RED, not orange or anything like that.
And thanks for the props on the paint work, the only downside is the gold paint is enamel and on the arms and attachments it wont cure properly. Luckily my customer just want to shelve it and never touch it after, so it works out. |

to me the red looks orange and since i always skip the text in favor of the pictures...i thought "oh sweet a hazard bat" but then i realized it's not supposed to look orange in the picture.
but for the record, based on the picture, in my opinion, this looks like a hazard bat. |

Python Viper, I LOVE this guy! He looks great, I think. And I guess I would have been one of the few, but even given the orange appearance of the figure, I was completely digging the colors! He had a late '80s Cobra feel to him! I can't say enough how much I love this guy.
I, of course, have a technical question. Well, actual a couple. First, how did you apply a red (or even orange) color to what I assume is a black base without the coat coming out looking caked? Last year I tried "correcting" my DoCI Alley Viper figure and surprisingly, the number of coats of orange paint it took to "fix" this figure ended up making the paint looked caked on and not a smooth finish--and that was on a base that was already orange! I'd be interested to hear how you achieve this look! It looks so smooth! Also, how does one get such sharp, pristine, geometrically perfect triangles and shapes (also observing your TF Mainframe in the background there)? Whatever technique you're using, it's perfect for a Storm Shadow v2, Shockwave v1, and TF figures.
