To start this off, I can't remember if the heads are slayer or hunterartworks - I mixed my bags with parts - sorry guys.
In anticipation of the 7 pack (which should reach me this coming week! WEEE! ) I had to take a look at my Dreadnoks and fix or re-do some characters. Found some heads that I bought a long time ago to paint up and off I went into dreadnok land This is going to be my "incognito" Zartan when he's just biking around running his gang, and the Monkeywrench head is now permanently the standard head for him (also added a grenade to his bandolier) Used Renegades Duke body, painted the pants part of the lower torso and added some random Dreadnok legs - used Mutt's jacket from the indiana jones line and voilá, pretty close to the Animated Zartan version. With out further ado, some pictures of my finished guys. Guest appearance! Oh yeah, I bought 3 of the unreleased Jurassic Park dude, one for this reason, I wanted to do an alternate Road Pig; |

That looks sweet. I think the JP fig could work as a new Dreadnok on his own. I think it's because I've always associated Road Pig with GoBlu, MI.

I had the head that needed painting. Then I figured what the heck, lets kit bash him as close as I can. Found a quick reference picture and saw that he had jeans and a grey t-shirt - Knew I had some extra dreadnok legs lying about so I just needed that grey t-shirt, Renegades Duke to the rescue, I love the sculpt and he has the new articulated hands which I love. The vest I already knew I was going to use, I have 3 of those mutt vests. I was very happy with the outcome of this one, it went far better then I thought it would. Getting back into that painters saddle wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. |

Thanks
I find I have to be careful with the lighting on these pictures - as I go for things that POP with lots of colors most of the time, sometimes it can get too neonish and ruin the pictures - but for stuff like this it kind of fits - and when the new 7 pack of Dreadnoks arrives you can bet it will be colorful! |
