Forgive me but his is my first finished project. PLEASE let me know what you think about my custom. I would really appreciate the feedback.
----- Unites States Air Force, SSgt. Greer, Ronald Ingram, earned his maroon beret very quickly for a PJ. Indoc. may have been the hardest part of PJ training but he hever feared. Known for his humble attitude toward life, he is the epitame of what the Pararescue Jumper truly is. After this mysterious airman saved a few Joes on a mission in western Africa, the Joe team picked this PJ up. He is sometimes refered to as Cod for his fish-like agility, but the Joes stuck with an unusual name. But they're not used to easy, common, socially acceptable names. They picked, "Damp." When he shows up with his buddies at the bar or reporting for duty it seemed that his ABU's and even street clothes were alwyays "damp", like he had just swam his 500. He was always on the move and always in great shape. "Damp" it is. His mission doesn't differ now that he is a G.I. Joe. When another Joe goes down on a high-priority mission, Damp is already hitting the fast-rope from a CSAR helicopter or halo-jumping from an AC-130 for a quick exfil of the downed Joe. ..."That others may live"... Head: Shock trooper torso: shock trooper Lower arms: Sgt. Airborne Hands; POC poseable hands Thighs: 25th Firefly Knees: Sgt. Airborne Legs: Para-Viper Boots: 25th Firefly Helmet and gogs: POC Dusty Harness: Para-Viper I literally have 9 more customs that need paint but are put all together, a few including: a new EOD tech (Long arm?), Cobra Medi-Viper (one of Scalpel's firends), LRRP Beachhead and Dusty, USAF Raven and USAF Flight Engineer. Some of these will need codenames. Ideas? ----- Pararescuemen (''PJ''s or ''Pararescue jumpers'') are specialized medics at the ready to meet any need. From rescueing a downed pilot to supporting the extraction for a Seal team to even recovering the President from harms way, these airmen are the angels of the battlefield, "That others may live." Hooyah This PJ is in night Halo gear. I made a new harness from the 25th Para-viper gear. His job A better view Standard fins I customized the harness of a 25th Para-viper to fit the needs of this PJ figure. I took off the "extenders," shortened the whole package and deleted the bottom gear. And if you got this far, then here is my rage of the day: 30th Lifeline was a great figure that complemented the original. BUT, the character, Lifeline, IS NOT a Pararescueman. He is an Army medical officer and is a pascifist. If any trainee checked for "afraid of guns" or anything similar he wouldn't get close to the PJ Indoc school house. So no, Lifeline shouldn't have been made a PJ. A micro-FAIL on Hasbro in the grand scheme of things... Thanks for even looking. Please let me know what you think. Pretty cool. Good point with lifeline too. Still trying to figure out why he came with a rifle. Seems to fly in the face of his absurd moral-military position.
Glad they produced him though. Again, great custom. |

Great custom.
As for Lifeline's rifle, I'm glad they included it. I can use it for any random Steel Brigade figure now.
