Today will start at least a month long process of me posting one new custom each day for critique, review, and general comments and slamming. Some of the customs I will be posting strated months ago but did not get done until just recently. Others have been done for months just waiting for better accessories.
Today's first custom is Lifeline. I have seen several Lifeline customs on here that have been very good. What I tried to do was make mine as accurate as possible. The following is a list oft he goods and bads in my opinion. The Good: 1. Removable flashlight on side. 2. Three pockets on right breast. 3. Knife on left boot. 4. Helmet looks good (helmet is from DTC Snow Serpent then heavily moddified.) 5. Playable. The Bad 1. Forgot to paint the little bit of hair that is showing in the back. YOu can't see it in the pics but I know it is there. I will take care of that. 2. Painted on the belt and white lines down the side. 3. No RESCUE on right leg 4. Paint on upper left arm is lumpy. 5. Knife on left boot is not removable. Here are the pics. The gurny and heart shocker accessory are from Rescue squad set. The figure on the gurny is just a Hawk body with an IJ Russian Soldier head, no big deal just background stuff. |

Not too shabby. If you're going to be doing this daily, let's see a recipe added to your critiques. Cool idea.

Decent custom, but I love the format. Listing the good and bad aspects as you see them is very interesting. It would on the one hand seem as though you would have done the job of critiquing your own work for us, but on the other hand it brings out details we may not have noticed.
The only thing I would suggest is to work on aligning the details, such as the pockets and white trim, which look slightly askew in a couple of places - otherwise very good work with two difficult colors to make solid in my opinion.

Looks great but needs the "Rescue" banner on his left leg to be excellent. You choose well the parts for making him.
