Several people have expressed an interest in giving Zanzibar a shirt. Since I will not be getting him for another week I decided to do a mock up for a Zanzibar's vest.
Zanzibar's final vest will be made out of some kind of cloth or cheap leather piece depending on what I think will look best. Below is a pattern for making a Joe sized vest. Print it out on paper so you can use it as a clothing pattern on nicer material. The markings on it allow different styles of vest or jacket depending on the size of the figure. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-p.../s252/vest.jpg |

For anyone who downloaded the template please post picts if you used it,
Thanks. EDIT: per a question I recieved, Material use: About 1.5 inches for the front & back. add 0.5 inch for the shoulders. Could vary based on which figure or material you use. So about 3 inches for the front & back. Width: should be about 1 inch. Add additional material if converting it to a jacket with sleeves or a long coat. More updates:
As you can tell, I believe there are far to many shirtless Dreadnoks. Monkeywrench Road Pig & Zandar Road Pig was easy. His should pad's straps basically forn the sleeves of the shirt. No hot glue needed. I'm still working on Zandar, to try & get a good updated look. Never liked his orginal design. Last edited by VideoViper; 02-02-2012 at 11:47 AM.. |
