I love his stuff, not only do you create an involved and unique story but the figures are superb with some of the most clever uses of parts I've seen in customs ever... And I'm stealing your gun idea.

If you do the gun, it helps to use a post in between the 2 halves. I used a cut segment of a paper clip. I heated it up with a lighter and stuck it into one half. Then I pulled it out and re-heated it to do the same with the other half of the gun. Then I pulled it out again and assembled the entire gun with glue. This way, there's a post in there to keep the gun from snapping in half. I learned the hard way that doing this sort of thing to riffles requires additional support so the finished piece is more durable. Hope that helps.
