Yes, very cool custom. I enjoy the ARAH style much more than the moderns. For us who grew up with ARAH, it's nice to see a good, solid custom like yours.

Very unique. And it's nice, not only to see an ARAH custom, but to see a female figure. And I love the color choices.

Very cool. What's her PMS?
uhm... wait... not a good acronym to use for a female character.. What's her primary military specialty?

I agree with every one else the over saturation of modern style customs makes me almost stop checking the customs here on the tank. This custom has restored my faith in the arah community. I would like it even more if she had a profile.

I like her! And though I understand why is so much easier to see modern era customs it sure is nice to see some o-ring from time to time.

Thanks, everyone.
I'm glad to see some still appreciate the less-articulated ARAH figures! I also love 'em, but they really seem to shine when topped off with some 25A/ROC/POC gear, don't they? The pouches came from the ROC Ice Viper's jacket, so there's a little new era flavor in there, too. I don't generally write filecards for my original characters, but here's what influenced this character's development: The "real world" inspiration for this figure came about from a story on Nightline about female soldiers in Afghanistan assigned to speak to female villagers to gain their trust and cooperation. The team leader had short black hair and was loaded with a ton of gear. I can't remember, but it seems like she may have also been trained as a translator. That set the guidelines for the figure. The "artistic" inspiration was that I had also wanted to repaint an '82 Scarlett head to see if I could make it look like a woman, so this was a good use of it. The head, as released by Hasbro back in '82, had no lips or eye shadow painted on it, and really didn't do justice to the work someone put into sculpting it.
