Code Name: Frigid Arctic Assault Trooper Filename: Alverez, Katrina Primary Military Specialty: Explosives Secondary Military Specialty: Survivalist Birthplace: Santa Catarina, Brazil Grade: E-6 Frigid learned the art of explosives early on in South America from her father who was an explosives expert himself in the Brazilian Army. As a single father he wanted better for his only daughter, but the ever serious girl refused to be left behind, and quickly picked up on the skill. As a teenager she was already a fierce hand to hand combat fighter and could outshoot nearly anyone she encountered. What would cause this Brazilian beauty to become and arctic trooper for G.I. Joe? In a word Cobra. They killed her father who refused to join them. Something changed in her that day, she became very cold and distant, she said she wanted to leave her homeland because it was too painful to stay. Coming to America she joined the military and eventually G.I. Joe. From Psyche Out's files, "She's an interesting case...her beauty turns a lot of heads, but emotionally she's void. She's an excellant team player but her involvement ends there, she eats alone, spends her off duty hours alone doing solitary things, and prefers the cold isolated missions rather than spending time with others. The only one she has shown any kinship to is Deep Six who has a similar stand off-ish personality. And even then its less of a friendship, and more of a begrudging respect." Parts list: -Gun Runners Rifle -Pilot Scarlett Body (silver painted white) -RoC Doc Snow Shoes and satchel -PoC Dusty goggles (modified to fit the smaller head) -PotC 4 head -25th Hardmaster headband (used as a scarf) -25h Snowjob backpack and skis Last edited by Owner of a Lonely B.A.T.; 07-27-2019 at 09:05 PM.. |

always a fan of the ice blue...rather than the drab gray on the outfits for the arctic characters. |

Yeah same here I always want a few more female characters there are too few. The profile was born out of that head, I first saw that Pirates figure and wanted to use that head for SOMETHING, but the choices in female Joe bodies is limited. So when I came up with the idea that it worked as an Arctic figure the skin tone seemed so dark so making her have some latin backround seemed to be a good idea. I chose Brazil because I used to know a beautiful girl from Brazil who reminded me of this figures head. Then I asked myself why would a Brazilian beauty be an Arctic trooper and it started falling into place. When the name Frigid came to me that set her personality...and it all was just in the details after that. |
