Here are some new customs I put together.
The first one is a Lanard Armored Vehicle that I got off of eBay for cheap. I took it apart, and modded the turret to sit a little higher, and allow access to the inside of the vehicle. It pops off, and you can set a figure inside to drive, and another to man the turret. I cleaned it up, painted it flat black, put it back together, and later added the various vehicle storage packs to it. Then it sat around for a while, but when I did the Abrams (it appears last here), I decided to finish this one up too. I dry brushed the details, and blacked out the packs to match the vehicle color. Then I sprayed it with a matte finish, that is my new best friend when it comes to painting custom vehicles. I call it the ARV - Armored Recon Vehicle. The next is an original Slugger I got in a dirt cheap lot of Joe stuff on eBay. Same method- disassemble, clean, paint, dry brush, matte finish, reassemble. I wish this vehicle was a bit larger. Otherwise, I love it. |

Found this at a Goodwill, along with an Attack Boat. This was originally a PTE World Peacekeepers M1A1 Abrams Tank, slightly smaller than the bbi Elite Force version. Again, as with the others, I totally disassembled it, made a few repairs, cleaned it up and painted it flat black. I then dry brushed a few details, and sprayed the whole thing with a matte clear coat before putting it back together. I'm waiting on some stickers to finish the job.

those are some pretty sweet vehicles especially the abrams tank.It looks like it could work really well as a night force vehicle.

Cool vehicles! I really like the ARV, great design. My only critique would be some lighter colors to contrast the base color. Some gray on the ARV and Abrams and the camo pattern on the Slugger. I love the added gear on the Abrams. Excellent work.
