Just put the clear coat on last night, still have to apply a few Cobra stickers once I they arrive in the mail. I know it's nothing ground breaking, but I'm still learning so I'm not quite ready to try my hand on more expensive toys. Until then I think I'll stick to GIJoe junkers or The Corps! toys like this one.
I haven't "upgraded" to the Krylon Fusion paint that everyone seems to be using, still using the Walmart brand spray paint. The Royal Blue is very close to the Cobra blue and the red looks pretty good as well. Finished it off w/ a coat of Krylon Clear Matte finish. Vehicle came apart very easy, made it simple to coat all the parts. Only part I didn't paint was the large gun on the front...thought the color was good as is. I've got some other ideas now that I've used his toy, but I only found this one and I've hit all of the Walmarts in the area. Anyhow, enjoy the pics:

The Aluminum color paint came out much brighter than I thought it would, but after applying the matte clear coat is dulled the color. I actually like the way it came out, gave it a slightly worn look...even if you can't tell in the pic.

I like how the black wings are removeable. The missiles still fit on the sides of the 'copter on the pegs used for the wings.

Nice job...that vehicle does have potential.
I prefer it without the wings.

Yeah, I kinda like it w/o the wings too as it has more of a old school feel.
