This Leatherneck v1 custom was a pretty simple build: recipe is legs+hat and rifle from ROC Leatherneck, torso, arms, head, tac vest, and backpack from ROC Pit Trooper. I sculpted a moustache, and painted to match the original 80s figure.

Looks nice. Wish Hasbro would release a good one, but for now, my custom will have to do for me.
I love the 'stache on yours!

When describing the 80s Joe aesthetic to the uninitiated, I usually add that there were lots of awesome moustaches. ;) Thank you!

I really wished Hasbro gave him a new head as I don't have the skill to paint a mustache.

@Nighthawk: I started with the ATV version as well--cool vehicle anyway! As for details like moustaches, you might find that its easier to paint something that's already been sculpted in relief--making a tiny moustache out of clay/epoxy putty--kinda gives you an idea of where to place the paint. Or, you can also use a #2 pencil to lightly sketch the facial hair first--then when you are satisfied with the shape, fill in with paint or a marker, let it dry, then erase whatever pencil lines are left.
