I never thought I would do a Sideshow-like FF, as I've seen some very nice ones here, but then I started looking at some stuff I had, and the PoC wv 3 SE body, and just decided I'd do something similar to it. I didn't do the coat because I don't particularly like the coat, so this is why I say it's inspired by Sideshow. Anyway, here it is......

Great work! Specifically, what paints did you use? (color and brand) This is another top notch FireFly custom!

I think it's a really cool Firefly, regardless of any Sideshow influence. I prefer this to the 25th version.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments!
I actually used the goggles that came with the comic pack FF, painted over the red, then took the night vision goggles that came with Snake Eyes (the modern era version), cut a small section of those off and glued them to the FF goggles. I use Testor's acrylics paints, because that's all they have at my local Hobby Lobby. I used flat black, gunship grey, and neutral gray along with some olive drab.

How is the "playability" with the Testor's? I have been using Tamiya, and when I re-pose some of the customs I have done, some of the paint flakes off

Same here. I have not perfected the sanding of the joints, and since I just display my stuff (and not play), I just dive into painting them. Once I get near completion, I pose them the way I want them, and touch up any joints. I'd love to have the time and skill to make it where I could repeatedly pose them without paint flaking.
