Great work! Those are some great looking heads, I love the expressions. I can't wait to see what else you come up with. Did you have to go to school to learn how to sculpt or just lots of practice?

well the the thing is that may dad is a toy sculptor he sculpted and designed almost all of the old ninja turtles bad guys, like all the crazy one were dun by him.
and that brings it back to me i grew up in the whole toy sculpting industries. put it this way i started customizing when i was 6....im now 25. the way i saw it was if my pops could do it so could i and thats how i see it to this day.. oh and he was the one that sculpted the 25th gi joe copperhead, well the parts that were new on it (the head and legs) they had him sculpt the whole figure but i guess they made it the cheap way and used the already existing torso and arms.. as far as work that i have worked on : be goths, kinder goths and a lot of accessories for jacks pacific wwe wrestling line and a few other things here and there. so if you think about it, the head sculpts that you get from me might as well be from hasbro.. me and my pops have tried to do some more work for hasbro but they just dont want to pay for good sculptors, go figure =P Last edited by Mad joe customizer; 08-18-2008 at 01:32 PM.. |

Awesome, I can't believe even more stuff. Your work looks great. Definitely gonna pick up a Fridge head & a SGT hat. Do you have any pics of the toys you and your father have done in like prototype form. I think a lot of people would dig those. THX
