I just used a fresh #11 X-acto to carve the upper lip and remove some of the excess material the factory molded in. I then very carefully cut at angles to remove material from the inside portion of his mouth. The key was to cut at shallow angles so as not to end up with square corners anywhere, and also to only cut very small amounts at a time to make sure I didn't over-do it.
Since the mold color of the part was green, it might help to paint it white part way through, otherwise there's very little contrast, and it's hard to tell what you're cutting. Then again, I was doing it in really terrible lighting... sitting on my couch watching the olympics : ) |

the camo looks AWESOME, However with the materials you had to work with (which was bascially crap) he now looks like a DRAG QUEEN lol.
but you can't make a turd sparkle no matter how much laquer (Sp?) you put on it. I love the camoflauge though! A+ for effort! |
