This one's based on Rat King, from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. EDITED TO ADD RECIPE: Body: Rise of Cobra Sand Viper (Elite Viper repaint) Head: Rise of Cobra "Doctor" Rex Lewis Neck Cloth: RoC Sand Viper, I believe; whoever it came with, I want more of 'em! Last edited by Monte Williams; 07-11-2014 at 11:13 PM.. Reason: 'Cause I'm a good-looking rebel who lives by his own rules... and I forgot to place a period at the end of my sentence. |

EDITED TO ADD RECIPE: Body: Rise of Cobra "Doctor" Rex Lewis Head: Some plain black head or another; Elite Viper or Snake Eyes, presumably; I super-glued a Zartan Duke mask atop the head, after having cut pieces from it. Last edited by Monte Williams; 07-11-2014 at 11:14 PM.. |

This here's Arcade.
And now you see why I didn't want to create a separate thread for each of these customs... Arcade's a strange case. All I did was swap the head... without even swapping the helmet. Still, I think he looks much cooler this way: Funny thing is that, yes, he's a stupidly simple "custom", but he's an original character, and I have quite a back-story planned for him. And with that, I'm off to wash the dishes and get to bed; I'm about twelve hours ahead of most of you. That's pretty much everything I've photographed; I have a dozen or so customs I've yet to pose and shoot, and eventually maybe I'll post my old Sigma kitbashes in here, but I think this is enough nonsense for now. Thanks for your time, everyone. EDIT: Found some more shots of Arcade: Last edited by Monte Williams; 07-11-2014 at 11:27 PM.. |

Dude, the backgrounds and dios are AWESOME as well as the figures. In fact, the dios are so good, I forgot about them entirely because they appear so natural and realistic. That's a very good thing. Great job.

I really like these. I think my favourites are Megatron and Blood Viper and I agree with Lance the backdrops are amazing .

Thank you, Sector and Lance. I'm glad the backgrounds are going over well; my last three houses have had nice gardens with rocks and such that provide good backdrop fodder, and I'm grateful 'cause I'm only able to take photos right here at the house these days. (Our armed guard stared at me the other day for about thirty seconds while I posed some figures in the back yard. He was utterly baffled, but in a friendly way).
While I'm not in any hurry to return to the States permanently (I'm enjoying seeing the world), I do miss Idaho's Snake River Canyon and the series of streams near my house in Northern California. Also, to return to a comment from earlier: Post it when you finish! And now, having finished the dishes, I really do need to crash. Thanks for the kind words, guys. |
