Looks great. The paint job, as much as any other part, sells it for me the most. But I think the head is awesome, and I love the shades.
If you make another, I'd only have two small tweaks. One, since it's a statue more than an action figure, find a sidearm that still has the trigger guard in place. The ROC guns without the trigger guard are a compromise for an easy grip of any action figure. For something where you can fix it into place, favor the realistic over the action figure compromise. The other is that something about the angle of the legs seems just a touch off to me. It could just be me though ;) I say these things because you obviously have a sick amount of talent, and I"m sure your next one will be even better.

Just finished this baby up.. the red was a bit tricky..but I think I came close.(Alclad stainless steel mixed with red ink). its still not the way I wanted but it'll have to do for now until I make another. which I plan on doing because I wasnt 100% happy with this one. To me , the face wasnt feminine enough compared to the original artwork. and I think the hands were too big. I shoulve used the RoC hands. anyway..here she is... hope you like it, and I welcome any feedback.
The face looks good on the otherhand,it's feminine enough for me. I love your work on the joint filling and sculpting very much !!! Just on small thing bothering me...the white line on her right arm is not that tight painted compared to the other arm's. But hey,it's still one amazing Baroness you got there man ! Keep 'em coming ;-) |
