"Kickin' it Old School" (Or maybe Funskool )
My entry is based on the Prototype NanoBat... It's gotta be the magnification...because I never notice little paint flaws until AFTER I've taken photos....so I reserve the right to update the photos in this Contest Entry up until the Deadline. The green looks to be a bit washed out in these pics too... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...m/IMG_8693.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...m/IMG_8694.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...m/IMG_8695.jpg Figure is all Custom Cast. The Backpack is from a Vintage BAT The chestpeice is a Recast from a J&R Productions BAT kit. BlackLight! So...a recap, Super Pleased with the Custom, not so Happy with the photography, Would love to hear what you think. Last edited by nova; 10-11-2011 at 12:41 AM.. |

Nice clean casting. Great paint apps...this is a very cool reverse homage.

Wow, strong 1st entry !
The blacklight makes we wanna get up'n dance Seriously though, it works. Quote:
I usually try to post pics of Joes much closer to their true size - about 4", that should keep your colors in check. Also make sure your screen isn't too bright.

Looks cool, I've found that neon colors don't always photograph so well, that's probably why the green is a little washed out.

Nice!
I did a 25th version a few weeks back. It didnt go over so well. the people that did like it thought I had a early Collecters Club figure. I really dig the black light shot. I need to try that with mine. |
