Snakeeyes Custom (Sideshow Inspired) - Tile Mcgillus

EDIT: Got Alyosha head in and swapped it onto him, which makes him feel entirely indepedent of the other versions!

So. I love the look of the new Sideshow 12" Snakeeyes. I am suped excited to get it. I feel it is the most realistic version of SE so far. So I tried to recreate the style with this custom.

Figured constructed with:
Head - SE V2
Body - SE V3
Backpack - SE V3
Webgear - SE V1
Satchel - SE V1
Large Uzi - SE V3
Small Uzi - Marauder Inc (not pictured)
Combat Knife - SE V1
Katana - SE V3 (modified)
Wakizashi - Storm Shadow (modified)

Man. I guess I shouldn't really call this a custom. It is more of a head and accessory swap. I did do some painting, like adding detail and metallic paints to the figure and accessories.

I also have a custom Alyosha SE head coming in the mail and might try that on this guy. We will see what happens!

Excellent Job.

This is one that I'm actually working on right now. I wanted to do a whole line-up of Joes and Cobras that were more realistic. I selected a team of Joes to be my reimagined elite force. I've always wanted that. I love the classics, but the older i get, the less i care about nostalgia. I just want Joes my way and this seemed like the obvious choice to take. When i think about shooting pictures for scenes, i just have to laugh at the firefighter or the guy in the football jersey participating in any sort of combat. My son loves it, so that's great, but i want a gritter Gi Joe. Something that elevates them beyond saturday morning comic violence and mind control duels.

looks good...i remember seeing a hint of him in the back ground of Scarlett and Flint thread...it amazes me sometimes how simple things can make a huge and awesome difference
