Vehicles Kids Custom AWE Strikers

well, we finally finished one of oour projects, the custom awe strikers. it took longer than i expected but it was lots of fun for the most part and time well spent with the kids who are joe fans as well.

me and the 4yr old painting the top chassis part, he choose cartoon cobra blue color, yep he's a cobra fan.

it's hard to see him under his paint mask and sun glasses

his older brother was a bit less enthusiastic. it didn't help he had the old spray tip instead of the new ones that are very easy to use. he choose metallic silver.

i helped them put them back together and i put the stickers on for them. i think they turned out very well. i hope to be doing a pair of vamps next. oh, i let them sit for a week to ensure the paint would be durable before reassemnling them.

we some how ended up loosing the nose cone to the canon on one of them.

Wow - they look great! That silver one is really cool. Looks like it would fit right along with a Silver Mirage cycle. I may just have to try that. thanks for sharing!

great pics, i got back into joe trying to relate with my 4yr old daughter and her Polly Pockets. we always play Polly's vs Joes. i prefer to attack but its hard when she marries Zartan to a polly. but they did an awesome job on those AWE's. might need to make a Rainbow Pony version with my girl
