I posted my first modern custom here a week or so ago, I finished a couple more today. I will post the other tomorrow, but for tonight here is my take on Low Light version 3.
Head: ROC Bench Press Torso: POC Snake Eyes Upper Arms: 25th Cobra Flint Lower Arms: 25th Beach Head Hands: 25th Beach Head Legs: City Strike Snake Eyes Feet: POC Snake Eyes Web Gear: City Strike Snake Eyes I didn't care for the bright green used in the original figure, so I swapped it for OD green. Other than that, I stayed as close to the original color scheme as possible. I wish the head was slightly smaller, but other than that, I am pleased with the results! Hope you like it... constructive criticism is appreciated! Last edited by Aldo Raines; 03-14-2015 at 11:31 PM.. |

He is the version from 1991... one of my favorite figures. I did go back and forth on whether or not to make him blonde, but i decided to stay true to the original.

Thanks everyone! This is only my second modern era custom and the first time I cracked a torso. It also is the first time I attempted dry brushing, all using techniques i read about on this forum. The tutorials on this site are extremely helpful!
