I never had a USS FLAGG, but didnt stop me from ever wanting one. So, I decided to finally make my own, but I wanted mine to be bigger. I constructed it using simple materials that are found everywhere or are very cheap to get.
Check out the link below and lmk what you think. She has lower interior hangar deck. Alas, my basement did flood, but I am in the process of putting her back together-no damage was sustained. After trying to make a F-18 with the same markings as the one in BEHIND ENEMY LINES, I decided to make an aircraft carrier. She ended up being 15 foot long and 5 foot wide, with two lower decks. She also had night operations lights for the runway. After all was said and done, she could hold 18 GI JOE AIRCRAFT-x-14,f-18s-x16s, thunderwings, stealthfighters, and helicopters. Not bad, not bad at all. The best shots are on pages 7 and 8. Anyways, to the Joe that saw me at the FLEA MARKET in Wayne today....YOOOOOOOOJOOOE!!!!! aw cmon, you knew it was comin... Not bad... It sucks that your basement flooded. But I still enjoy the irony of the situation.

Building it and coming up with different ideas to utilize what was there was the fun part.
Nice Jism83, Ill admit it, yours is WAAAY bigger than mine. What would you like to see if they, Hasbro, release a carrier again? |

oot long and 5 foot wide, with two lower decks. you know you can turn it into a S.H.I.E.L.D. Heli-carrier. right?

Ive been working on a smaller version, Ill have pics up later this weekend. I have 4 stacks of shelving with 2 shelves per stack. She ends up being about 12 foot long and 3 foot wide with foamboard turned to the side. I picked up a few FLAGG pieces like the top part of the superstructure. I hope to have most of it finished by the weekend. Granted its not as big, but it is pretty impressive length and the ability to utilize the shelfs under the deck are still there. There will be foamboard panels painted to look like the ship hull that will be removeable, so that when not in use the cutaway view is hidden and you just have the side view of the ship. Any suggestions as to what features you would like to see on this new carrier?
