Decided to start breaking these figures apart in separate threads again... first of the new batch...
Duke - This is what Oliver called the "Deluxe" version of Duke, just added a Resolute Duke head to Dukes body. However, the helmet will not fit this head so he sent me an additional protec helmet to paint up in a matching camo pattern.

That head sculpt looks so much better. Now you've made him look like a real soldier.

I never liked Duke as a child, but he was my brother's favorite. And then I grew up and joined the Army and worked with a First Sgt. who was an Airborne Ranger. I quickly learned the value of a talented senior NCO, and Duke earned a new appreciation in my Joeverse. Marine Deadpool has truely made, in my opinion, the Ultimate Duke. Classic tan shirt, classic but updated look, and with the best head sculpt for Duke ever. Just awesome work.

In my Joeverse, Duke is the Command Sergent Major for the entire Joe Team, and I imagine him walking around headquarters and stuff dressed like this pretty much every day. Basically just being awesome everyday.

The paint on the trousers is perfect, and really ads depth to the original look.
BTW, I'm out of the loop obviously, what does ODA stand for? |

Fantastic! You have made a Duke that has classic elements, but is also fresh. Great job, man!

"ODA" Stand for "Operational Detachment Alpha" also known as an "A Team"... which is where the TV show (and movie) got it's name from. It's the Army's technical team for a 12-man team of Green Berets: U.S. Army Special Forces. So on this custom project, every member of the team is either a Green Beret, or the type of soldier who would be attached to an A Team for support, like Psyche-Out as a PsyOps soldier. Thanks for the question and the compliments.
