As seen in CIAD's pics thread.....

This was a group project by a great bunch of guys. It really shows what a group of fans can do when they pull together and work as one.

These were sold BELOW COST....on a pre-order basis, after all the costs...we gave these away, literally. Not complaining on my part...just stating legal facts.

I know alot of guys asked about obtaining them, and honestly I feel like crap that I can't put these in everyone who wants one's hands. I will say this...your pm's asking if there are any extras has made it worthwhile...and will make the next one even more bearable through the rough times ....I thank you for that, honestly I do.

This was done as a tribute to the first GI Joe board I infiltrated... CobraIsland.com and the friends I made there. CIAD and myself talked about a plan....and we decided to give it a shot. Not a cheap plug....I consider Hisstank and CobraIsland as sister boards...as most of you who visited CobraIsland during downtimes here from the fire may also, at least I hope.

We had a template of a box...a Schwann's Clam strip box held the item just right.

Though....TheWyseOne couldn't consume enough clam strips to fill all the orders....so I had to fabricate the boxes. lol

The boxes:

They were blacked out to match the black background of the card art. I got to bow down and give props to SingSingJohnny for the killer graphics.....and to OOALB for getting them printed. These two guys pulled through in the clutch to finish this project out. Thanks guys!!!

We had some delays along the run...I ain't about to deny it. Overall...it was a great experience for me, I hope it was for the other guys involved. I think we all learned a thing or two on producing something.

I know, myself...I definately have a new found respect for the GIJoe Collectors Club and staff involved in production of items. This whole experience exposed me to so much with EVERY aspect of the goal....I will definately cut them guys alot of slack. lol
