Sweet Jeebus!!! Any chance we could get a recipe for those bad boys? I recognize the main body of the craft, but what else was used?

You see...this is where I defer from just about every freaking capitalist out there. lol

Recipe:

Corps boat....grabs them at walmart...usually plentiful.

Paint:

Walmart brand Color Place Flat Black Spray paint
Krylon brand Banner Red Gloss
Walmart brand Color Place Sun Yellow

Flags: custom made
Decals: Sea Ray reproduction decals....I had these from GI Joe Heaven - Buy Sell Figures Vehicles Weapons Repair Parts before he sold out of them...but I believe J. Ruben does have them now.

Not all boats...but newer run boats do come with a stock blue/green deck...I used two parts gray to one part black mix of Apple barrel paints to get a decent gray (it practically matches the first run of these boats stock color).

Boxes...some custom made.

Foam insert: 1" foam from craft store (be prepared for shock in price on this stuff)

Box art: custom made using pics of finished product.

Those look AMAZING. The attention to detail with the box art, the foam insert, etc. Those look like a labor of love and dedication to an idea.

Honestly...ideas from the guys have been put out there...and I did make one prototype of something I picked up, but seeing as how a similar item is being produced...the prototype has been put on hold at this moment...though I must say I am happy with it and glad to know I have it in my possession.

Great work. I saw these a while back and thought how cool it would be for Hisstank to have something like this. It could be as simple as a Hisstank repaint of some kind.
