how do you get the peg out the knee

It's not a peg. The holes on the lower leg fit over the upper leg.

I use an xacto knife to seperate the lower leg a bit from the peg. I then pull out the peg using a tweezers. To reassemble I use a pliers with masking tape over the ends so it doesn't leave marks.

just boil water for 30 sec in the microwave and let the figure sit in there when you take the water out.

Yeah, I actually did it this morning. Pop the legs in hot water and let them soften up. Then, just pull the kneecap out. Getting it back is a little tougher... First, I had to soften the legs up, then pop the bigger peg in first, line up the smaller side with the hole; since I couldn't squeeze them together with my fingers, I just bit down on the spot and it worked, haha.

To clarify, are you detaching just from the upper leg, or from the lower leg as well?

Dude! same thing i do! I just bite down a bit on the spot and it goes right into the peg!
