He was a character I discovered late and never knew existed, but with time I really started to like him and wish I knew of him when I was young.

Nice job...considering I just recently found my 80's Airborne in my parents attic...Love the attitude and that "far away" Navajo look...The original Airborne's backpack had a trench shovel, supplies, and possibly a parachute - would you consider adding those things? I mean he is...Airborne Awesome job...
