This is my Rebel Angel fan fiction collection of customs. Each one has a story per link below.
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...lance858a.html My Joeverse Summary - 200-300 years in the future, Cobra, a ancient secret society whose list of historic leaders/Cobra Commanders include Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Ghengis Khan, and Hitler, finally succeed in taking over the world through the massive use of nukes. Survivors of that nuclear holocaust find themselves cast into a future dark age under fuedal law with Cobra dominating every aspect of their lives. It's a high tech cyber punk industrial wasteland world. For those who choose not to live as a subject of Cobra, their only choice is to escape into the Badlands, vast areas of nearly uninhabitable wasteland, where they live as outlaws, bandits, pirates, and or freedom fighters. Create your own band of outlaws/freedom fighters/mercenaries/pirates or your own Cobra strike force for this world! You can even have your own Sector, name it Sector WHATEVER YOU WANT, or you can be a Cobra Noble with your own land to rule. Rule it however you want. Create fantastic background stories and post away! Choose your side and let the creative juices flow! More pics here: https://picasaweb.google.com/1041224...AngelArmadillo

Part 126: Prayers
While the IGS Bahamut and the HMS Alexander were positioning themselves for a mighty air battle in the skies of Sector 858A, a band of Rebel Angels who were once Cobra’s proud 176th Light Brigade of the Vipers Foreign Legion were trapped inside the city of Prometheus and were surrounded by the Royal Crimson Guard Dragoons. The Dragoons were led by Field Marshall Collin O’Hara (the Matador). The Matador and the Dragoons seen below: With Captain Shana O’Hara (Scarlett) still M.I.A. and Warrant Officer Dashiell Fairborn (Flint) recovering in their field hospital, Alison Hart-Barnette (Lady Jaye) had taken command of the remaining rebel forces encamped outside Prometheus. Lady Jaye seen below: They had sent a distress signal hoping that other freedom fighters would join their cause and come to their aide. And finally, after 10 days of waiting, their prayers were answered. An encoded message used by outlaws reached them. The message read, “We are defenders of those who cannot defend themselves. We will fight for freedom wherever there’s trouble. We need to coordinate our attacks.” Lady Jaye turned to Courtney Kreiger (Cover Girl) and asked, “Could this be a trap? Could Cobra have gained access to this outlaw channel?” Cover Girl seen below: Cover Girl replied, “It’s possible, but this channel has been well encoded, us outlaws have been using it for years.” Lady Jaye – “They said they are in possession of GI Joe armaments. They said they know where GI Joe stored other weapons caches in Sector 858A. Do you think there’s another group out there that discovered one of the GI Joe abandoned bases in a different sector?” Cover Girl – “That's possible too; the GI Joe PIT I discovered had messages that said there were other hidden weapons caches all over the world. There were coded messages on how to find other GI Joe PIT’s.” Lady Jaye – “They want to meet with us directly. They won’t trust anyone else. Apparently, they’re just as worried about a Cobra trap as we are. Looks like my Rebel Angel wanted posters and your Outlaw Star status has given our rebellion some legitimacy.” Cover Girl – “Tell them this: rally point is GI Joe Sector 858A (referring to the PIT in Sector 858A).” And with that, the two decide to head off to meet the would-be allies. Under the cover of a powerful disruptor network, they pilot an obsolete GI Joe Armadillo (found in GI Joe PIT that Cover Girl discovered years ago) virtually undetected. Lady Jaye left orders to Selwa Rease (Doc Junior) that she was in charge until Flnt fully recovered if they didn’t make it back. Doc Junior seen below: It was a difficult decision to leave their comrades but the situation was desperate. The rebels in the city were nearly starved to death and without proper winter clothing. The two women finally arrived near the rally point just after sunset when Lady Jaye noticed something on her scanners. Her eyes lit up and she screamed to Cover Girl, “We were followed!” Before they could react, muzzle flashes popped from the dark hills behind them. The shots ping off the Armadillo. Lady Jaye swings it around to face the enemy. As the turret turned, its armor creaked and shook. The screeching sound was then drowned out by the engine’s roar. The lights came on in the dash as she powered up the guns. The scanners identified the enemy positions. Lady Jaye – “They’re advance scout elements of the Dragoons.” Cover Girl – “In that case, they’ve never seen an Armadillo before. Show them what they’re missing!” Lady Jaye squeezed the triggers and unleashed thunder. The quad guns pounded fire onto the enemy positions. The night was lit with continuous flashes. The Armadillo’s fire control had an automatic range finder that adjusted its guns’ angles so all four rounds converged on the same spot. The result was panic and terror upon its targets. The Armadillo let loose its punishing rounds into the hill side. Each shot cracked loudly in Lady Jaye’s ears. The entire mech shook as the guns pounded away. Her seat vibrated violently and the blasts made her feel like her teeth were shattering. She was barely able to hold on to the handle bars as she sent glowing tracer rounds into the hills. It looked like red hot fiery golf balls flying into the darkness. The target area was quickly blanketed in a cloud of dust and debris. As Lady Jaye became fixated on her target, Cover Girl was scanning the horizon to make sure they were not being flanked. Cover Girl looked to their left, and then to their right. And to her horror, she spotted movement through her helmet’s advanced optics. And that’s when she saw it coming. It was a bright flash followed by a trail of white smoke. It was streaking right for them. She screamed to Lady Jaye, “Incoming at 3 o’clock!” But it was too late. The rocket smashed directly into the side of the Armadillo. Everything flashed a bright white. She felt her body jolted and then everything faded to black and nothingness. When she came to, she felt the cold ground bushing on her face. She struggled to open her eyes, but when she did, she saw the burning wreckage of the Armadillo nearly 30 yards away. She couldn’t hear a thing but muffled sounds. The area was covered in smoke. She could barely make out what was going on. But then she realized that the blast must have tossed her body flying out of the Armadillo. And that’s when she remembered Lady Jaye. She immediately reacted by pushing herself off the ground. She managed to stumble a few yards only to collapse again. She didn’t feel any pain, but she knew she must have been injured. Suddenly, her senses started to return to her and she felt the warmth of her blood running down her face. She tried to get up again, but completely collapsed. She reached out towards the burning Armadillo and mustered all her remaining strength to scream out, “Lady Jaye!” She then saw unmistakable silhouettes of troopers in long coats. They had four glowing eyes on their helmets. They were undoubtedly the Royal Crimson Guard Dragoons. “Finally,” she thought, “after all these years fighting Cobra, they finally got me.” And just then, another silhouette appeared behind the Dragoons. This one was sleek. It appeared to be a man creeping along the ground. He moved quickly. He drew a sword and with one long swipe, he slashed across the Dragoons. They stood there perfectly still for a moment before flopping to the ground. And when their bodies hit the ground, their heads rolled off with the four glowing red eyes and all. The shadowy figure approached her. It stood over her. She had no idea who or what she was staring up to. She wondered, could this be just another enemy after the reward on her head just like Zarana had tried to do a few days ago? Or could their prayers have finally been answered. Zarana seen below: Armadillo seen below:
