I didn't post them here yet, so here goes:
Gikan (version II): Head: Bushido '94 Torso: Crimson Guard Immortal '91 Upper Arms: Zandar + Zarana '86 Lower Arms: Viper '02 (V8) Waist: Road Pig '88 Upper Legs: Thrasher '86 Lower Legs: T'Jbang '92 Tonfu: consists of parts from Slice '93 and Ryu '93 weapons Kama: consists of parts from Dojo '92 and Storm Shadow V17 '05 Flying Guillotine: consists of Roadblock '93 helmet, accessory pack Zarana gun blades and a chain Notes of special interest: The signs on the Flying Guillotine mean Headhunter in Chinese This is version two of Gikan. Bio:After Kumite I Gikan went back home to improve his fighting skills and looked for ways to improve his weaponry. His idea was to have at least one weapon that would attack with every move it made. That resulted in the personalized tonfa. Handling the tonfa, any defensive move turns in an offensive move as well. Every swing, block, punch, stab or hit with the tonfa is a move with one of the spiked or edged sides of the weapon too. And that's just his right hand. In his left hand, Gikan handles a kama that pretty much functions the same as the tonfa, but it has different angles and blades to complete his balance of ways to attack and defend. Finally, the Flying Guillotine is Gikan's most mysterious new weapon. It's a legendary weapon, supposed to be invented in ancient China. The outer blades are thought to be soaked in poison, the inside of the thing has never been seen. All that is known is that it can decapitate a victim with a pull from the chain. Rudarius:
Head: dremeled Iron Grenadier '88 helmet, hot glue, piece of wire netting and a cut neck ball joint Torso: Annihilator '89 Upper Arms: Thrasher '86 Lower Arms: Gung-Ho '92 Waist: Zartan '84 Upper Legs: Zartan '84 Lower Legs: Zartan '84 Axe: Barbeque '85 + axe from Accessory Pack '88 chain axe Shield: piece of spray can cap, Warhammer spike, Warhammer waterslide decals Bladed Fists of Iron: Dremeled Warhammer Ogre weapons Notes of special interest: Rudarius is derived from "rudiarii": a gladiator who had won his freedom (received his wooden sword or rudis) but chose to remain a gladiator. "Amouricum Mortis" means armoured death. Bio: Rudarius was born and raised in Italy. Started wrestling as a child, but turned to MMA as an adolescent. Almost immediately became Italian champion at the age of 18, when he was allowed to compete at professional fights. He quickly got involved in illegal underground fights all through southern Europe. Gained a reputation as an inventive and graceful, but yet powerful fighter. In that illegal fighting business, Rudarius came in touch with a more challenging type of fighting known as "Decerto" (fight to the finish with weapons). It's basically the equivalent of the Kumite, but its history goes back to the original gladiator fights in the Roman culture and often involves deaths of fighters. Participants fight under contract of lanista, gladiator bosses. Rudarius started that way too, fought and won over 50 matches, which gained him his ceremonial wooden sword and his "freedom" to fight for his own. As a champion of the southern Europe, Rudarius now seeks for other fighting tournaments all over the world. |

While the figures both look good, the real win here is the Flying Guillotine. Great job on it, not many people even heard or seen it. I remember seeing one in a Shaw Brothers film from the 80s.

Thanks!
Yes, the FG is my favorite part too. Since my brothers and I watched a lot of martial arts / ninja movies as kids, I was familiar with the thing. I saw a documentary on Discovery Channel about it too. It was kinda like Mythbusters, some people tried to build one and tested it. |

Great update for Gikan. Rudarius was one of my faves in the 2nd tournament. Simple, clean, and very effective.
