Thanks man, I still want to make an alternate hooded head for him when I get the new DVD pack... and possibly an unmasked face.

Thanks Sarge...
As far as Mercer goes, figured I had to do something with all the Vipers/Dukes/Tomax's out there. The CC was something I had wanted to do since reading the story. He was drawn to look like an evil dictator, the only Cobra logo on him was actually on his hood... he just looks like someone you wouldn't want to F**k with, you know? |

Cobra Commander is:
CC Legions set head (though any will do, of course!) I.J. German motorcycle driver (upper body, arms and belt) I.J. Colonel Dovchenko for the legs and 'skirt' Had to take an exacto blade to get the belt separated from the torso of the motorcycle driver. The same blade was used to remove the pocket from the skirt, the canteen from the belt, and the buttons from the chest (followed by just a touch of sanding). It's actually not a baby blue either... it's a darker blue called 'enchanted blue'... the flash on the camera brightens everything. All-in-all, I think it turned out well! |
