I've been thinking about trying my hand at making some custom add-ons for my bbi HMMWVs. I got an early-style GPK a while back from Pickelhaube, which is awesome. I'm really interested in some nitty gritty stuff like what you have here - the tow bar and front bumper you have are awesome! Did you make those yourself?

Is that a painted paper towel draped over the spare tire on the trunk? If so, did you wet it first before painting? Looks good.

It is papertowel, dont know what brand and I did go for the one with some design and came out great. Although I used thinned out wood glue vice regular water to harden the paper towel then painted it with a brush and then drybrushed a little.
