So, I've been dabbling on the comicbook side of the action figure realm lately. Here's my first of a few comic customs I've been working on. In the comic world Daredevil has taken a hiatus from crime fighting and the Black Panther (T'challa) has taken over in his place. Panther has modified his costume from his traditional garb to adapt to crime fighting in the streets. There were two artistic renditions I wanted to borrow aspects from when creating the custom and they are listed in the pics below, Francesco Francavilla's rendition added a nice bullet proof vest and pouches and Gabriele Dell'Otto who added gold accents to the costume. All in all I'm pretty pleased and I also did a little bit of experimentation with the lighting and using a backdrop for the photography to change things up a bit, I hope y'all dig.
*this was also my first time cracking open a MU figure and Joe torso to do a barbell swap for the leg swap. Recipe: -Artic Destro legs and barbell and vest -Target two pack MU Black Panther -POC Firefly backpack pouches cheers! |

I like the design a lot. Great part choices, especially the clawed Destro feet. But I feel like the hands/arms need some kind of accessory. Maybe claws or even a simple pair of fists. The costume is cool, but the arms and shoulders are kind of boring. I feel like they should "pop" a little more.

Waddup B'more! I wonder how big the B'more contingent of 'Tankers is?
Well in the source comic you posted, he's got some gold accoutrements on the chest and hands. And a gold strap around the left arm. For this custom, do you have an MU Hawkeye laying around? He came with purple bicep straps that would fit perfectly. Just slip 'em on and paint 'em gold. Or maybe those wrist bracers that came with 25th Wraith? I'm pretty sure they'd fit those arms. You could remove the cannons, and paint them black with some gold trim or something. But if you can't find any accessories to add, maybe even just add a stripe of gold to the gloves he's already got.

excellent suggestions, the bicep straps would provide a nice contrast for the upper body. I just need to track down a hawkeye or a wraith I can fodder up. I'll make a posting over on the fodder trade thread and fish around for a swap. Thanks again for the constructive feedback, it is appreciated.
