If you're going for the "wet" look, that looks really good. The gloves actually look like wet leather. The figure looks solid overall, but to me, it just looks like a guy out in the rain, not necessarily Snake Eyes.

You guys are absolutely right. My figure needs something that screams out snake eyes. Without the traditional costume and mask, the only thing I can think of at this point is to add some iconic SE weapons.

Btw thanks for the welcome guys! I feel like a real member now that I've finally made my first thread lol. I can tell that there's a real sense of brotherhood here and I want u guys to know that I truly value ur comments and feedback. I'm kinda new to customizing and I want to learn as much as I can.

We all learn from each other by looking at each others customs.
I really dig the wet look of your figure. You could fix up a harness and throw a sheath for his katana on his back and have him hold the sword in one hand and blackened goggles in the other. Maybe the old TNT satchel around his shoulders on one side and suspend an UZI from a sling on the other. Might already do the trick. |

well, if you wanted it to look more like snake eyes, shouldn't his face be all scarred up? other than that its a cool looking figure.

My opinion is that it's a good custom as it is, just not really as Snake Eyes. Use your imagination and make him whatever character you want or invent your own 'verse.
