I got a load of Star Wars customs coming down the line and since this is a joe site, I've decided to just post them all in one thread and provide updates.
First up, is Kit Fisto's fighter. I added two custom made blue engine kits, each on there own switch, and 2 blue "lasers" on there own switch. Be sure to check the video to see them all in action. Thanks for checking it out.

Fireflyed, I have a silly question for you. couldn't you use the screw holes in the body of the vehicle (atleast the lower part) in the places that give you like a half inch or more of tube length to place your LED's? Just a thought, but I think if you had a "Clip" system that could hold the LED's in place it would look even more awesome, Only catch is you might have to dremal out a small hole in the tube for the wire.

I don't really understand your question. Are you saying I should put leds on the bottom in the screw holes?

Yes, using the screw holes as the LED location where ever possible.

screw holes are for...screws they're molded as anchor points in the plastic halves in order to fasten them to one another. how hard is it to unscrew the vehicle...mark your holes...dremel them out...run your wire...test fit...final check connections...dry fit...and fit? i have no idea ask fireflyed...but i would imagine that if using screw holes for items other than screws were feasible/easier/faster/better...he and others would do this. However...why not give it a try yourself and see how it turns out. You could potentially revolutionize the uber niche market of "led'ing" toys (you see that...you see what i did there i made a noun into a verb...fuck you Mrs Mattinson it is possible) |
