Does anyone else hate the fact that the traditional B.A.T. wore clothes? I mean, that's ridiculous. And who was in charge of rolling up their sleeves, and tucking their pant hems into their boots? Dressing up robots in jumpsuits is lame-o.
Eventually Cobra Commander reached that conclusion as well, and he committed extensive resources toward developing a new version of the B.A.T. It's less anthropomorphic than the original, but it's far stronger, faster, and more agile. Better yet, it doesn't have a glass panel on its chest to cover its most vital internal mechanisms (I always hated that part too). Here is B.A.T. 2011. . . Edit: I added a piece of collar armor in the last 2 pics, so that the head doesn't look so detached. Is it better with or without it?

That's pretty sweet! I like the new B.A.T.! I never really thought about the B.A.T. wearing clothes and how strange it is, but it maybe because cobra is trying to make them look more human so you don't know what your fighting until it's too late.

Pants and clothes make them blend in better. Driving trucks and stuff like that. I like the custom though.

love love LOVE IT! Great execution! I agree 100% about the clothes. I remember thinking how strange it was when I was a kid too. I think i'll be stealing this idea for sure!

I'd army build that. Something about it reminds me of the bots in I Robot.
