Had some spare motorized ATVs so I commissioned TS member Extraordinaire Danielgogeta to do some custom work on them...
What came out definitely made me smile The Cobra Desert R.A.T.S. - Remote All Terrain Sentries The Cobra R.A.T.S. are the newest light capacity all terrain tactical vehicles produced by MARS Industries exclusively for Cobra's military field operations. Basing its design from the Cobra Ferrets, these fast strike vehicles were reconfigured and updated for high speed, easy maneuverability, and support versatility in any rugged terrain. These R.A.T.S. also function as an internally transportable vehicle, with it's compact size, light weight, and dimensions, It enables them to fit to any large cargo aircraft or transport vehicles. They offer immediate deployment to any harsh environment or climate in the world. Each vehicle uses a powerful V-Twin liquid cooled engine, with fully automatic, all range, four wheel drive. It also employs a unique front and rear adjustable suspension platform system that provides enhanced operator control, mobile stability, and reliable safety. The R.A.T.S. are mainly deployed for a wide range of capacity such as reconnaissance, logistic support, and even combat. It's four sided carry-on flat metal tube construction can hold a variety of gears, packs, and even personnel. The R.A.T.S. are definitely the latest in fast attack all terrain vehicles for Cobra. With it's lighting quick maneuverability and multi-oriented functions, no Joe would want to mess with this pack when faced in a harsh and cold environment. Well, that's all folks. Hope you liked them! Thanks again Dan! Last edited by Cobraticon; 06-14-2011 at 11:16 AM.. Reason: added pics |

Dammit! I thought it said Desert BATS. You suck. JK. These are very cool. I've never seen any 1:18 scale four wheelers besides the Joe ones.

Hahaha Thanks for all your comments, guys...
Regarding the brand, I think these are some of the China made Die Cast metal vehicles we have here in the Philippines. It said 1:18 scale but when you look at it closely, it's a little bit large for Joes, but then again the Cobra ferret is one big over-sized ATV... Here's the reference pic plus some racer bikes that Daniel is currently customizing for me... And yes, they are motorized...When you pull back these buggers, the front headlight lights up with motorized sounds and wheels... Good thing I was able to grab some of them when they went on sale at 3$ each... Thanks for looking! |
