Anytime man. You beat me to the punch, and I still like how yours looks better, esp the little switcharoo with the left thigh. Nice. I know what you mean about TF Flint. I stockpiled that sucker as soon as I found multiples...keep up the great work!

Your modifications gave those bit boring looking figures a new life. I like how you painted that beard on Breaker. It makes him look more like the original 1982 figure. The arms and hands set you gave to R&R gave him the look of a real machine gunner soldier. Your Grunt and Hawk look great also.
My only gripe about your modifications is your arms and hands choice for Breaker. He isn't a character you can visually as muscular/bulky. The upper arms are a great fit for him but I was you I will ditch the forearms and hands. Maybe Storm Shadow's forearms along with a set of hands of a human Star Wars figure without gloves will fit Breaker better. That's my 2 cents. Quote:
Eddie, I may need your help on these when I get to them. |

Those are beyond awesome BG.
You've inspired me...Breaker is getting a full beard tonight. Can you walk us through the recipe for the Grunt? |

Very nice, all of them. Why couldn't Hasbro have done that?

These are absoloutley fantastic! I can't get over how good Breaker and Rock 'n' Roll look with those Flint arms! Spectacular! And don't think I don't appreciate the work you put in. This is not a simple arm swap-I realize how tough it was- your paintwork is flawless! Really good job!
Why didn't Hasbro do this!? Last edited by miked; 06-25-2008 at 09:04 PM.. |

-Hawk body & helmet (Comic 2 pack) repainted the silver parts using Tamiya brown and Testors MM medium green -Breaker head (Comic 3 pack from a couple of years ago) modded to fit on 25th body. I liked the square jawed look. -Duke knife sheath and M16 (Red Star 2 pack). I thought about using the whole body for grunt like some other Tankers, but I think the Hawk body color is more accurate to the vintage figures look. -Hands, web gear, stand (Grunt! from the 3 pack....see he did make it there. Thanks Hasbro! |

These look nice. I like the red collars. I hope Hasbro does a huge boxset with all of these guys.
