Two things... First of all, with slight modifications(Add a video camera/transmitter and possibly larger batteries), these could be real life battlefield robots used by the military. Second, your work is AWESOME and needs to be displayed/used in public.

Thank you, that does mean a lot to me, and that helps me push through the long nights of grinding and problem solving/debugging. Knowing that even just one person (although there have been several people on this forum) that believes in me makes it all worth it, and gives me motivation to carry on to the next level. And I will not stop improving until it is displayed in public! Thanks again Arthurdent!

love it! love em all!
some questions... what are you/these firing? are you packing them like a cival war cannon? or, are they carrying around a small caliber load? are they firing a singular projectile? or, are they firing like a shotgun blast volley of bb's and pellets? how accurate are they, at what kinda distance? how long does building one take? how loud are they when they fire? battery use? top speeds to scale? |

Thank you for taking an interest and you are asking some good questions, Ill try my best to answer them "what are you/these firing? are you packing them like a cival war cannon? or, are they carrying around a small caliber load?" *** Small caliber custom made rounds (bullets in shell casings) ranging from 6.8mm (.27 cal.) in the X-88 and Meine Panther Panzer, 7.62mm (.30 cal.) in the Jagd Fury and .50 cal. in the Strumpanther "are they firing a singular projectile? or, are they firing like a shotgun blast volley of bb's and pellets?" *** A single projectile, however the powder used is very granular so in some lighting you can see the larger powder particles scatter in a shotgun effects as they continue to burn outside of the barrels "how accurate are they, at what kinda distance? " *** Depends on the bullet, the length of the barrel and the powder change. the best case tested was Meine, the Panther with a supercharged 6.8mm, punched right through a 16 gauge steel plate at 50 feet. But like the Jagd Fury's 7.62mm bullet tends to tumble in air making it very weak, thats why I gave the Jagd Fury working missiles as back up weapons "how long does building one take?" *** To build a known type (like the 2nd time through of the same model) only a few months, but to research and built a working new first time type, years, like Meine took 2 years to learn the skills to make her and solve all the problems to get her up and running, but i can build a 2nd panther in under a month now that i know what all has to be done. "how loud are they when they fire?" *** Very loud, Standing behind one, I can feel the percussion in my chest from 15 feet away. "battery use?" *** Yes, and some use 2 batteries in series (32.4 watt power rating/Amps times volts per battery). "top speeds to scale " *** The fastest one is Meine at 78 feet per minute on flat ground I hope that this answered your questions satisfactorily and thank you again for your interest. Below are so examples of the powder particles burning outside of the barrel which does not contribute to speeding up the bullet as the bullet has already left the barrel .
