I've been wondering what the inside is like. Is there a bench to sit troops on, or is it just empty?

its a bench, but its not very high so troops kinda slouch and cant sit across from each other without some serious knee-to-crotch action.
here are a couple shots i took of the two vipers inside...

That looks awesome! I knew someone would use that for Cobra sooner or later. If you need more ideas check what this guy did. Great job Driftbot.

daremo that guy's weathering skills are AMAZING!!!
i really would like to see somebody try a Joe version of this. i would, but... too much of a good thing? heheh. GI Eddie, i love the cloth door idea. i was actually thinking of doing that with a piece of canvas. i would only do it if i could figure out a way to roll it up and secure it at the top of the opening. and as for an update? prepare to poop your pants. its completely finished now minus the ARBCO stencil.

(use your imagination for a horde of BAT's spilling out of the back. i cant wait to get as many as i can!!!!) finished by drybrushing tan over the brown bed wood (i used a paper towel. i recommend a rag or fabric so it doesnt shred on you. :vulgar ), trimmed with flat black with silver drybrushed weathering, silver on the grill and cab trim, gloss black on the roof rack, corner markers based with flat white then tamiya clear orange. if i left anything out or you have any questions, by all means ask! this was a SUPER fun project and if you like it i HIGHLY recommend you give it a shot. if you are scared to tackle it, i would do a commission for a low hisstank price. ;) otherwise i'm thinking about doing a couple more and tossing them on the 'bay. (although probably minus weathering) thanks for looking! (now if this doesnt get front paged i'm going to lite it on fire! lol)

That's sick Driftbot, and excellent link Daremo. I love seeing vehicle customs and weathered paint jobs. I was happy with the way it came out of the box, you took it to the next level.

heh.
yeah that's why i want to make a canvas door/flap. as for the truck... you've never seen some of the older "starving students" type moving vans? heheh. maybe arbco likes to deliver thier product with some vintage style. if it were extensive enterprises, yeah, i could see the old clunker as being a bit out of place. thanks again everyone. i'll post updates when i stencil that logo on.
