It's coming very soon. I had to postpone it due to the frenzy to get stuff ready for Con, and then the resulting wreckage afterwards. It's like that every year unfortunately.
As for the name, my business partner and myself thought that the new start warranted a new name, and we both wanted something with long-running military implications. This particular term dates back to the victorian west, which we are working on a line of figures for and is still in use in some military circles today. |

Broken Arrow meanings...military and other:
In certain North American Indian Tribes viewed the Broken Arrow as a sign of piece (others saw it that you had one less arrow) In Early Nam Broken Arrow was the call sign for distress of a unit about to be overrun and for all available Air, Naval or Artillery Support to be fired at the location. Not long after Ia Drang during the Vietnam Conflict it was replaced by "Prairie Fire"... In more Contemporary usage it is the Callsign for a missing, misfired or rogue domestic Nuclear weapon. Or it could mean you are from Oklahoma..... I like it...that way folks never know if you are peaceful...hunkered and bunkered and calling in support .... or a rogue WMD about to go Mushroom on folks... |
