Yo Joe! here is the 3rd installment of my growing line of Joe based models!
This time we have the Mobat from 1982, with a bit of a twist. No longer is it dark gloss green, with shiney features. Instead I had gone more with what the instruction kit called for. I have some different paint applications and from when I started it to the finish of it. here is what I came up with. I wanted a rugged look , some paint chip/ rubs, bullet richochet, grenade richochet etc... Wanted to give it that '' I've been to the gates of hell with guns blazing, and came back in one piece." Now the following pictures are of the works in progress. from phase to phase all the way down to where it was weathered and finalized. Please take the time to leave a comment if you would. I'll reply Thanks everyone! I greatly enjoyed building these old vehicles. Not one of them is Joe scale.. IN the works now is a beautiful 1:500 scale version of the U.S.S. FLAGG It will feature many classic joe airpower. As well it will be mixed to have some older classic planes from the late 60's through 80's. To pay tribute to Joes from the vietnam & cold war era. Stay tuned! The flagg is to be the FINAL model in the Joe class collection . these vehicles also represent the first step I've taken in to military vehicles .. in nearly 26 years.

some of the first shots, while this project was underway.
As the project grew.. I decided to take some test shots, before i did actual weathering on it, or decals.. here was some of the results.

Then I decided it was time to put the tank with my vamp, to see how I would later do the weathering, note the treads on the tank on these pictures...
now.. i needed a bit of weathering.. here is where I went with it, again this was leading up to what you're about to see.
