I'll check for it, since i've found that some stuff from US is being imported, i might find it. I use regular mate varnish which is good but takes too much time to dry. The Rust-Oleum Painter's touch is cool but too glossy.

Hi everyone - I'm Joel - Humpty's cousin. As the eventual recipient - I have to say that I couldn't be happier with these guys! Don originally got me into customizing way back about 10 or 11 years ago. I still have to defer to the master on some things. Since I have two young kids and that equals no time for fun stuff, I had to outsource these guys to Don. They turned out great.
I knew these guys might be a challenge for him as he never really followed the DDP run, but he accepted and rocked 'em! The wires on Guillotine I'll probably replace with some thin red wire that I'll be able to run over his shoulders and into the backpack a little easier than the stiff tube things he has now. I'll be sure to splash some black paint into Grim Skull's private zone... ;) Vanguard will also receive a rare "ethnicity-change" operation. When it's all said and done, and I get all the figures together I'll try to get some group shots taken and posted. Don already delivered a few of them so they aren't in one place currently. I looked at these figures as the Convention Set that would never get made. So perhaps I'll have some time to throw in a couple of DDP style Joes to round out the set to 15. Thanks Cousin Sgt Humpty! |

Okay, Vanguard's ethnicity crisis has been corrected (and a new pic has been posted for him)! The offending wires on Guillotine's mask are part of the original helmet, so I'm going to leave those alone - if Joel chooses to modify them, so be it. As for the unpainted area inside Grim Skull's pelvis, Joel will have to fix that as I turned the first half of the team over to him a couple of months ago...

I don't think I'll re-post them, but feel free to quote the original post there if you think they'll enjoy them. |

I see your back to the classics, and there's no loss in skill on customization of your plague team.
Wonderful customs bro |
