So, as I am still unable to work, I decided to play around with another custom. I was looking at the Jungle Viper, and decided to see what he would look like in desert colors. I decided to give him a look based on pictures of US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan (meaning, desert fatigues, with woodland camo pattern, or Digital camo flak jackets).
This figure is a straight up repaint of Jungle Viper. Some parts, like the camo fins and rifle, may look slightly underpainted, I decided to leave them like that to give them an "out in the desert and been through one too many sandstorms" look.

It's a Flaming MOTH set Jungle Viper!! : D
I really dig that color combo, Jim - it really would blend well with the MOTH desert troopers. It's very nicely done, and leavng certain parts black breaks up that stereotypical 'I'm in the desert' pattern. Well done, buddy! Tom

Please stop talking. The amount of insider information that you have is exactly zero.
Know how I know this? Because you posted a declassified flyer which was meant for fun as a NEWS ITEM. No one would ever tell you anything because the VERY FIRST THING you would do is post it here. Probably incorrectly. |

How you doing brother? Shoulder any better? Looks good I think that there are limitless possibilities with this figure. Good job. |

As being someone who saw this fig 1st hand and up close, I'd say the pic doesn't do it justice. Still think its great work bro, lot of versatility.

That looks pretty good Jim... that would work well in the desert… I would actually like to see Hasbro repaint it like this.
