This custom is inspired by fellow tanker 'WeaponXcustom's POC Dusty' and of course Sideshow.
I only collect 3 3/4 inch figures and always thought I would try to make the Sideshow figures into this scale. I didn't really set about doing it until I saw 'WeaponXcustom's POC Dusty'. His work gave me ideas and inspirations on how I would go about doing my custom. So here is my 3 3/4 inch Sideshow Dusty The Recipe is as follows: Head: POC Dusty Helmet & Goggles: POC Dusty Beret: BBI Green Beret Torso & Arms: ROC Desert Ambush Duke Hands: POC Wave 3 Snake-Eyes Upper Legs: ROC Attack of the Pit Rip-Cord Knees & Lower Legs: POC Wave 3 Snake-Eyes Feet: ROC Desert Ambush Duke Web Gear: 25th Snow Serpent (Custom) Pouches: urbanrevtoys (Pouch for Grenade is custom using 'Cloth Tape') Backpack: BBI (Custom - from some desert marine) Holster: ROC Storm Shadow (Left-over from my Dr. Venom custom) & Pouch from urbanrevtoys and plastic cover for those microwavable containers Rifle: marauder's FAMAS "Bullpup" Assault Rifle w/ Bipod modded with Grip, Silencer and Scope and Trigger guard from ROC Covergirl Hand Gun: M1911a1 45 Caliber Automatic Pistol from Marauder Grenades: marauder Knife: POC Wave 3 Snake-Eyes Oh, the silencer, Bipod and Beret can be stored in the Backpack when not in use. And here is my Sideshow inspired Duke & Beachhead http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ince_chua.html http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ince_chua.html Last edited by vince_chua; 04-27-2011 at 03:12 PM.. |

The patches are from images in Sideshow website. I photoshoped them and print them out. After which I stick them on the 'Cloth Tape' and the completed patches are then glued on.
Thanks for all your comments. Glad you dig it. |
